Fire Suppression

Working in shifts of 24 hours on and 48 hours off, a firefighter never knows what will happen next. One of the most dangerous parts of the job is internal structure firefighting. All fire training, mentally and physically, is put to the test when lives and property are on the line. In 2013 the Spalding County Fire Department responded to over 1,600 incidents.
