The Spalding County Correctional Institute along with local assistance from the Henry County Police Department, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, and Georgia Department Corrections reported that as of 7:00PM, Thursday, July, 16th, 2015 the escaped inmate, Brandon Harris, had been captured.

Assistant County Manager, Eric L. Mosley said, “Resources from multiple jurisdictions from across the region spent most of the day Thursday searching for Brandon Davis, a nonviolent offender, who walked away from a detail near Locust Grove.” “Mr. Davis is serving a 10-year prison sentence for arson and other crimes committed in Walker County last year.

Harris, 21, allegedly escaped from his work detail near intersection of Caraway and Leguin Mill.
