Animal Care & Control

Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance the public's health and safety by removing aggressive animals, helping to control stray, and abandoned animals, and by providing comprehensive education and exemplary service to the citizens of Spalding County and their pets. We will uphold the ordinances, state laws while also reducing the pet population of homeless and needy animals within Spalding County.

To rescue, and rehabilitate animals in crisis, and ensure healthy pets through education, advocacy, and affordable services, and inspire a community where the animal-human bond is celebrated and nurtured. To provide humane care and to provide multiple humane
    education programs.

Our wish is a humane and compassionate future for every animal friend as we strive to maintain a low-kill shelter with live outcomes.
