Important Information Concerning Inmate Visitation

Family members of SCCI inmates are allowed to visit on weekends and county observed holidays from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.  Visits may be scheduled for Saturday orSunday.  Visits must be scheduled in advance by calling the facility and speaking with a counselor.  The deadline for scheduling a visit is 4:00PM on the Wednesday before the weekend you wish to visit.  No visits will be scheduled for the coming weekend after that time.

All visitors must be on the inmate’s approved visitation list (regardless of age).  All visitors must be able to clear the metal detector and be appropriately dressed.  The decision as to whether or not a visit or is dressed appropriately will be that of SCCI staff members.  Inappropriate clothing includes shorts (on anyone over the age of 12), see through clothing, halter tops, tank tops, tube tops, sleeveless tops or dresses shorter that two inches above the knee. Undergarments must be worn.

Visitors can only bring in their ID, car keys and $40 in coins for use in the vending machines.  No weapons of any type, cellphones, drugs or other items will be allowed inside the facility.  Anyone 14 or older must have proper identification. Visitors 16 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult on the visitation list.

No one who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be allowed to visit.

Anyone not allowed to visit MUST LEAVE THE SCCI PROPERTY.

A complete copy of the visitation policy can be found on the bulletin board in the visitation area.
