IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ELDERLY AND DISABLED VOTERS REQUESTING AN ABSENTEE BALLOT BY MAIL: ***Please phone our office should you have any questions.****
Per the Georgia Secretary of State Elections Division: Voters who are elderly and disabled are normally entitled to make one absentee application, which rolls over to all elections in the cycle. However, for any special primary, special primary runoff, special election, or special election runoff; voters in this category are required to file separate and distinct applications for an absentee ballot. Any elderly and disabled voter as described in O.C.G.A. § 21-2-381 (a)(1)(G), and SEB Rule 183-1-14-.01 (1) and (2) will have to request an absentee ballot for the special primary on June 17th, possible special primary runoff on July 15th, special election on November 4th, and possible special election on December 2nd.

May 26th, 2025, is the first day that the Office of Elections and Voter Registration can begin mailing out Absentee Ballots for the June 17th, 2025, Special Primary.
June 6th, 2025, is the last day to submit an Absentee Ballot Application for the June 17th, 2024, Special Primary.
Absentee Ballot applications are available online, by clicking the link above, or obtained at the Office of Elections and Voter Registration, 825 Memorial Drive, Griffin, GA 30223. ALL information MUST match the information on the voter’s registration record.
You may submit an absentee ballot application through the secure absentee ballot portal at the following link:

Absentee Ballot Applications can only be accepted between 75 and 11 days before an election.
Absentee Ballot applications can be returned in the following manners:
